Driftwood is a type of dryad found in only the most windswept and interesting old trees. Have you ever seen a tree with a twisted trunk? A gnarled branch? A particularly funny looking knot? Chances are, Driftwood are flittering about!
Standing at 13 cm from foot to branch tip, these tiny friends can fit in the palm of your hand! They have 9 points of articulation not including the fully jointed tail.
They take 12 mm eyes (a free pair is included with purchase, or left out upon request).
Each doll comes with three faceplates; curious, mischievous, and sleepy.
Each doll can be custom colored to your exact specifications for the base body color. Even clear is possible! Just give me a note with your color preference or inspiration photo/ Pantone/ paint chip to match and I’ll do my best to match that color for you.
There are several options for finish!
Unsanded: the doll will be left unsanded and small support nubs will be visible. It will require sanding and sealing by the purchaser.
No Face-up: the doll will be sanded, but will be unpainted and unsealed.
Face-up: the doll will be sanded, painted, and sealed, to your specifications! Small amounts of moss are included in this option.
Face-up Delux: the doll will be sanded, painted, and sealed! Major amounts of moss? No problem! Tiny mushrooms, big mushrooms? Glow powder in the cracks of the bark? Just let me know! Choose this option if you want handcrafted extra details added to your doll!
Every doll is hand designed, jointed, printed, finished, sanded, painted, and sealed by me. As a result, there may be small flaws and imperfections! I will always try my best to make your friend as perfect as possible however.
